Electric is the cheapest and less likely to go wrong. Dont go for standard underfloor heating, look for something that is called floating underfloor heating, and this is easier to sort without damaging your floors if something does go wrong. Also you dont always need someone to fit it.

either is fine.
IIt really depends on the underlying energy source. Electric, Propane, Natural Gas or Fuel Oil. If you have access to Natural Gas, and its prices are competitive with Electric, then you need to take a hard look at water underfloor heating. Gas and Fuel Oil radiant heat boilers are very efficient. It wouldn’t be accurate to assume that electric is cheaper. Electric rates vary dramatically, but one thing is certain. As the cost of fossil fuel energy rises, so will electric rates. However, a utility may give you a special electric heat rate which will allow you to save on electric all year long. More research on your part is needed.
I have electric underfloor heating so in the summer i can turn it of and i don’t have to have the hot water on all the time.
it depends on area you are covering, and type of flooring.
whatever you choose they are more expensive to run than conventional heating
